Need gold? Just do this every three days. It only takes about 15 minutes from taking the portal down there, to the hearth out after you drop the beast.
It's not a bad deal, either. Vendor loot, 146 gold, and some gems/bags.
Mostly for pvp. It's also pretty good at pve dps. It has a ton of self-sufficiency, and I never need healing through AOE damage, even on the likes of, say, sapphiron.
You can also tank heroics like this if you have good tanking gear with max defense and good parry/dodge/hp.
Currently when blade barrier procs, you do a shout animation for no specific reason. I guess originally it was going to be a less frequent proc so they wanted to give it a noticeable animation. It's up really all the time now and procs a lot, so if you watch the vid you can see that the character is shouting ALL time time and it looks silly. blizz has said they'll fix it-maybe that's what Jayde can get up to as soon as he starts working!
The issue I seem to have is not having the runic power for unholy blight for when Ony spawns her whelps, and Death and Decay alone is not enough to take them down before I die, any tips?
Nice blog, i just started reading it and is has helped me learn alot about deathknights, and WoW gameplay in general, i just have one question that doesnt seem to have been answered yet:
What addons do you use as far as Unit Frames (really like yours)
Death knight mods (the sword in the middle of the screen)
and any other addons that you might use???

To solo onyxia short guide: It really helps if you have Glyph of Death Strike. The ide is to use Death Strike as soon as you below like 70%. Dont use Tank gear, it only prolong the fight, PVE works fine.
Fas 1 is easy, just do as much dmg as u can while using death strike if you get low on health.
Fas 2 is the hardest part. Welp can be tricky but do like this. If you have Anti magic zone pop this one. When alot of welp is out use your army of the dead, they will taunt all welps. Use Death and Decay and try to hit 1 welp with IT and then pestilience it to the rest. They will die like flyes. Then just look up and hit onyxia as much as u can. Some welps will spawn but not as many as first time.
Fas 3 is as easy as the first one. Just hit and heal when needed.
Easy 250g total and a Onyxia bag, and ofc the plesure of killing onyxia SOLO
I usually run a frost build, so I wanted to stick with something I knew. Looking back I think taking Runic Power Mastery and Chill of the Grave instead of Rime/Annihilation might have worked a bit better, one of the few times where the extra runic power might be nice for bigger Death Strike heals.
I wiped 3 times before pulling it off, Deep Breath ftl. Once I finally AMS'd through it I was fine.
@MC comment: I doubt it, the packs would be a problem, I have seen it duo'd though.

I would realy like it if you could do a writdown on all your mods/addons you use. You have probebly got this request before so if you or somone els could rederect me to where i can se that i would be glad.
jayde could you please tell us how you are able to use RuneHero even though there is no latest version of the addon. i keep getting the "outdated" error message.
To use out of date addons, just click the addons button on the character select screen, then click load out of date addons at the top. You could also adjust the version number in the Toc and then you won't get the error message.
Haha, yeah. People in my guild were jealous when I solo'd her. 173 gold is a nice bump for a 10-13 minute fight. I'm assuming my fight took longer as I did it in tanking gear and Frost Presence. My pet lived through the first and third phases, but I'm pretty sure he died in phase 2.
Hey Jadye I see you're 21/50/0 Forst spec atm, how's that in comparison to your spec in the Ony vid on every aspec of the game? Mind trying that spec or a Frost spec out on Ony? Thanks
I have one big problem with her: Knowing what distance is close enough to melee her while she flies cause now I always die from not being close enough to death strike the brute when she flies. My ghoul can show me the correct distance but she kills ot fast with the damn aoe fireball. any tricks and tips on that?
song 1: Marcus Schulz - Without You Near (Gabriel and Dresden Remix) with part of intro chopped off and then chopped off again at the end when it goes into a drum-only section. song 2: Starts at 7:20. Don't know (no decipherable lyrics for me to use to track it down), but would love to hear the whole track.
It took me a while to learn phase 2but now that I have it down I kill Ony as much as possible. Besides the normal 200g you get from gold/vend epics she also drops BoE blues which you can AH. I also had an extremely rare(rarest?) alchy recipe drop that I sold for 900g (dream vision).

Only tryed the first boss. But its imposible to kill the hounds at the same time.
Zul´Gurb can be soloed tho, or i only took 4 random bosses and it worked.
