Leveling thoughts

Just thought I'd share this with some of you, since a lot of people are curious as to the best specs and leveling talents, as well as early tanking builds.

Hopefully we'll see a shakeup of DK talents in the next build or so that will make leveling less blood-required.

Can you link the generalized 56 point blood talent spec you had used when you made the bone wastes video? Would be helpful ;) Thanks!

Hey I just wanted to contact you in some fashion. First I'd just like to say what a fan I am of the vids. I've been a DK geek for months now and having not been in the Beta these vids just add to my need to play one.

At any rate, I was reading up on the beta forums and noticed a semi-common gripe that I had an idea for. I was curious what you thought and if it was something you could recommend seeing as how I can't get into the appropriate channels.

People don't seem to enjoy the reagent cost for ghouls when there aren't corpses around. What about the ability to harvest corpse dust from corpses when you don't need to use them. It would be a bit of a time sink but at least it wouldn't cost you gold.

Maybe even just include it in looting the corpses of humanoids.

Excuse my ignorance (I've just joined the beta) but what is "UB" ? You use this term several times in this post and I can't get it, thus making it harder for me to understand what you mean.

By the way, I greatly appreciate your posts and videos, thanks a lot :).

Sorry, It's unholy blight. It's referred to a few posts up. I have this nasty habit of using acronyms since the early stages of alpha.

Also, @Jhet. If we were able to farm for the reagents via humanoid corpses, it would then be taken away from us as a purchasble reagent. I'm not really sure how I'd feel about that, after having played a warlock for so long. I really got tired of having to go 50 mobs before a long arena grind session.

*Farm 50 mobs, that is.

Ah yes, Unholy Blight! i thought about it but wasn't sure :) Thanks for the quick reply !

Well maybe making them not quite as easy as looting, but a simpler way to find them in the world without buying them.

Rogues can find the reagents for their skills in lockboxes from looting corpses. Why couldn't the DK reagent be bought and found?

Hey is it alright if I post comments like this here or would there be a better venue? Is there some other method of getting ideas about stuff like this into public view? I've been reading the beta forums and I've got a few but I don't want to hose down your blog if you're not looking to be a public forum like I kind of already started doing lol.

Do as you please.

I just wanted to voice an opinion based on what everyone's saying in the thread regarding keeping the same rune blade through 80 via some upgrade mechanism. I noticed that you signed off on the concept.

My problem with it, despite the fact that it would likely be a lot more work than Blizzard would ever impliment with so many other things going on, is that while it does suck to lose the cool looking runeblade to some green in Outland, I would imagine there will be a great many awsome looking weapons in Northrend and never being able to wield them due to this kind of mechanism would be a shame.

Instead, maybe just some minor artistic change similiar to shadow priests converting their mounts while in shadow form as a consolation prize for an epic death knight feel, without scrapping the chance for DK's to flaunt epic drops from end-game.
